What we collect

Your email and a scrambled (hashed) password if you make an account. If you upload your Spotify data, we read it once to build your report. The file is deleted as soon as it's processed. We keep only the summaries you see: song lists with play counts and minutes, monthly listening totals, and your report settings.

The shared song library

To score a song, we send its title and artist to an AI model (Anthropic's Claude). Nothing else about you is sent. The resulting scores are stored in a shared library and reused for everyone, without any link to who uploaded the song. Genre fixes you suggest are counted toward that library anonymously.

Quick reports

Playlist links, screenshots and song lists are used only to build that report. Screenshots are deleted after they're read. Anyone with a quick report's link can view it.

Sharing

Full reports are private unless you create a share link, which you can turn off anytime.

Services we use

Railway (hosting and database), Anthropic (song scoring), Stripe (payments, when enabled) and an email provider for account emails. We don't sell your data or use advertising trackers.

Deleting your data

Delete any report, or your whole account, from My reports. Deletion is immediate.

The More I Know, the Better isn't affiliated with Spotify or with Tame Impala.
