Before you start

Get your
Spotify data

Spotify gives every account a copy of its listening history. You request it once, and they email you a ZIP.

  1. On a computer, go to spotify.com, sign in, and open Account → Account privacy (some accounts call it Privacy settings).
  2. Scroll to Download your data.
  3. Check Extended streaming history for your whole history. It's the best option, but Spotify can take up to 30 days to send it.
    In a hurry? Account data arrives in about 5 days but only covers the last 12 months.
  4. Click Request data, then confirm with the link Spotify emails you.
  5. When the "Your data is ready" email arrives, download the ZIP and upload it here as is. No need to unzip it.
